Ready to share I have been described as a people pleaser, much to a fault. I enjoy people from all walks of life and have the ability to empathize with them. Conversation comes easy but I also enjoy the quietness of being with someone with whom I don't feel pressured to talk. My heart is tender, yet has some calluses. The sample questions suggest that I describe what I like to do for fun. Well, that is one thing that brings me here. I haven't had what most would call fun in a very long time. I do enjoy home repairs, building things and painting, "man" things. But for the last several years, fun has been watching tv, crocheting, spending time with my family. For me, it goes without saying that spending time with my family will remain right at the top of my list. But as for watching tv and crocheting, I would really like to replace that with something that has a little more excitement and adventure in it. I have put all my energy into my daughter. I declared that I would never date again because my daughter deserved 100% of my time and attention. Now she is beginning her own life and I realize that I have been living my life through someone else all this time. I have declared that now it is my turn. I like all kinds of music except jazz and blues. I have no vision of what a perfect date would be, I'd like to find that out from you. Love at first site? No I don't think so, definitely not. That implies that what you don't see doesn't matter. I am looking for comfort and support, someone who I know has my back, someone who has integrity and is above reproach. Someone who wants to spend time with my family joyfully. I work for the State of Tennessee. I am involved with helping people from all walks of life, in all parts of town. It's an adventure, I love my job. Oh, and I am a country girl, the daughter of a farmer and loved every minute of it, I miss that way of life. By the way, it's supper, not dinner !!! Looking forward new adventures.
